Psychology Advisors

Upon entry to the Psychology Department, students are assigned to an academic advisor. Academic advisors are full-time Psychology faculty members.

Upon declaration of a specialization in sophomore year, students are reassigned to an academic advisor associated with their chosen focus.

Students can access the name and contact information of their advisor on TESS. Students retain the right to request reassignment to another academic advisor; however, we recommend reassignment to an advisor associated with the chosen focus. Students are also welcome to seek informal advising from faculty other than their assigned advisor; however, this should not be in lieu of establishing an ongoing advising relationship with the assigned advisor.
